How do I get to Madison?

By Air:
Madison is served by the Dane County Regional Airport. The airport is on Madison's northeast side, taking 15-30 minutes by car from downtown, depending on traffic. A taxi to the downtown area is approximately $12.00. If coming by air, you might also consider flying into Milwaukee or Chicago and then taking a bus. Milwaukee's airport is served by Badger Bus while Chicago's airports are served by Van Galder.

By Bus:
From Chicago: The Van Galder bus line runs several times daily from both O'Hare and Midway Airports. The one-way fare is currently $26.00 and travel time is approximately 3 hours. Please call (800) 747-0994 for fare and schedule information or visit VanGalderBus.com.
From Milwaukee: The Badger Coach bus line runs 6 trips daily from Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport directly to the Memorial Union for $20.00 one way or $34.00 round trip. Travel time is approximately 2 hours. Please call (608) 255-6771 for fare and schedule information or visit BadgerBus.com.
Greyhound bus lines also run to Madison. Please call (800) 231-2222 for fare and schedule information, or visit Greyhound.com. Taxis are available at the bus terminal, which is approximately 1 mile from the Conference Site.

By Car:
Madison lies about 150 miles northwest of Chicago (approximately 2.5 hour drive), 75 miles west of Milwaukee (approximately 1.5 hour drive) and 270 miles southeast of Minneapolis (approximately 5 hour drive). Please use Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps or MapQuest for directions by car.
